Already have quotes but aren't sure how they compare? I'll review your proposals, explain the differences between installers and technologies, and flag any gaps or red flags — so you can decide what actually suits your property, priorities and budget.
Fixed fee: £150
Guidance
“Help me choose”
A managed process for homeowners who want independent support from the outset. We'll discuss your objectives, select installers together, and I'll coordinate and compare quotes with you — guiding you through the options so you can decide with confidence.
Fixed fee: £495 - includes up to three home visits within Cornwall.
Oversight
“Help me deliver”
For more complex projects, perhaps involving multiple technologies, larger properties, 3-phase installations or multiple sites. I act as an independent advisor throughout the process, helping coordinate decisions, assess opportunities and I can project manage the installation if needed.

Why I do this
I spent four years in senior leadership roles in solar and heat pump sales. I saw how quotes get pulled together, how installers are incentivised toward easy installs with as few questions as possible, and how pricing structures actually work. Most importantly, I understand how the technology itself works.
That means I can offer something you can't easily get yourself: real insider knowledge.
I don't work on commission from installers, and I don't take referral fees. Just totally impartial, independent advice on your side of the table, not theirs.
The aim is simple… to take the pressure out of getting it wrong.

I'm based in Newquay and work with homeowners across Cornwall and Devon.
Initial consultations can take place by phone or video call, but I recognise the value of being on site. For clients choosing the Guidance or Oversight services, I attend installer site visits as part of the process, helping to ensure your objectives and requirements are properly understood before quotes are prepared.
